Teeth Implants

Pain Free Dental Implant Solutions in Stafford

Do you have one or more missing teeth and want to restore your smile?

If you’ve got loose or wobbly teeth or you have got teeth that feel like they’re just about to fall out, obviously that’s a big concern; it’s going to change your life. They might even be sore too and so it’s going to mean you’re not going to be able to eat what you normally would like to eat.

And that’s a big concern, certainly with the new patients who come to see us at Smile Style, but we’ve got solutions for this, and it may include using the new latest dental implants.

You don’t need an implant for every single tooth, sometimes it can be just adding one or two which will allow us to fit a denture or a bridge which is fixed in and gives you that bite back that you’ve wanted.

We actually challenge a lot of our patients to go and eat steak once they’ve finished their treatment. So if you’ve got these concerns and worries, you’ve got these wobbly teeth, these painful teeth, these loose teeth, you’re losing teeth, then rest assured that you do not have to put up with this for the rest of your life. We have the answers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dental Implants are a discreet option to replace missing teeth that looks and feels like natural tooth. They are a fixed alternative to moveable dentures.

They are replacement tooth roots, and a crown or bridge is placed on top acting as the teeth.

There are two components to the implants:

1. The dental implant itself is usually made from non-corrosive titanium. This means that it won’t rust, tarnish, or weaken when exposed to any elements. Therefore, it is safe when placed into the body, is non-allergenic and fuses with the bone.

2. The crown placed on top of the implant is normally made from porcelain that looks like your own tooth/teeth, allowing them to look natural and blend in.

Dental Implants are a great way to replace missing teeth. They are one of the most advanced treatments in dentistry, helping to improve your smile and your health.

The best thing about dental implants is the confidence they can bring back into your life. They can look natural and feel very comfortable.

They can feel like your own teeth!
How many dental implants do I need?

Since each smile is unique, the answer to this question can vary per person. Dental Implants can replace a single tooth or support bridges for multiple missing teeth and full-jaw bridgework if you have no natural teeth.

We first need to determine if you are a suitable candidate for dental implants so we will conduct a comprehensive exam to check your oral health, including physical examination, X-rays, and possibly 3D scans.

The first phase is where the dentist attaches the implant to the bone, and you will come back for the second phase of the procedure a few months later. That gives enough time for the bone to grow around the implant, making it strong enough to stay in place. Each patient heals differently, so it can take up to six months before the replacement teeth can be placed.

The second phase is when the crown / replacement teeth can be fitted.

Installing a dental implant involves multiple steps, which can take several months. However, the end product is a permanent replacement tooth/teeth that is most definitely worth the time and effort.

One of the greatest benefits of dental implants is that they look and behave just like natural teeth, providing a function and strength that is unrivalled by other restorations. Because the dental implant itself is much like a natural root anchored firmly in your jawbone, it gives the false tooth great stability allowing you to eat normally. We need teeth for biting and chewing food and because dentures don’t exert the same force as real teeth, eating is compromised.

Dental implants can also prevent bone loss as if a tooth is missing, then the jawbone begins to lose density and shrink. The jawbone grows around the post when an implant is placed, holding it just like a real tooth root.

Having dental Implants also helps your gum health as when there’s a gap because a tooth is missing, there is a much higher risk of plaque build-up and gums can become inflamed and sore.

Also, the other added benefit is no cavities! As the implanted post, abutment and crown is constructed from artificial materials, there is no risk of decay.

The design of Dental implants makes them a permanent solution to tooth loss and if they are well looked after they can last between 20 and 30 years.
